This is The Bay from L'Estaque by Paul Cézanne c. 1886, Oil on Canvas. I like this painting because it is a landscape but you can tell the various elements apart very clearly. The way the shadows are represented show very realistically. I also like how you can also see the brush strokes in the sky and the water. The colors are very warm and inviting as if it is a beautiful day. The scene is very calm and peaceful which makes me want to look more into it.
