This is Marcel Duchamp's In Advance of the Broken Arm/(from).  I was looking at Duchamp's artwork and I came across this which is a simple snow shovel turned into ready made art.  When Duchamp moved to the United States he never seen a snow shovel before since France had no such thing in production.  This ordinary object was very unfamiliar to Duchamp.  The "from" in the title explains that the object came from the artist but not made by him.  I picked it just because of how simple it is.  I also couldn't believe he was able to turn a shovel into art.   A janitor ended up using it as a snow shovel so it was not preserved.
