I and the Village by Marc Chagall

This is I and the Village  by Marc Chagall. It is an oil on canvas painting made in 1911 which can be found in the Museum of the Modern Art. I really like the bright colors and the many geometric shapes that made up its composition. Its light, fun and happy mood goes well with the overall color scheme. I can feel the strong bond between the green man and the multicolored horse as they look directly at each other. I get the feeling that the people and the animals of this village share a deep connection.
